I am starting to compile a listing of badges with pictures of both the badges and hallmarks with the ultimate goal (hopefully!)
of presenting this in a book format for other collectors. If you have any California badges, please send me a picture
of the front and back. Everyone who contributes will be acknowledged in the book. If you do not have a digital camera/scanner and live
anywhere close to the San Francisco Bay Area, drop me a note. Have camera, will travel!
I am doing this both to help new collectors from getting ripped off by phony badges and to help others identify badges they may already own.

This page is dedicated to police memorbilia trading. The key
word to me is "trading". While I am now at the point where I have to buy most items, I
still attempt to complete all transactions by trading.
Some background: I am a Sergeant with the California Highway Patrol
and a former Marine (Hence the Marine related items).
I have been collecting patches/badges for approx. 13 years and have found
it to be very rewarding. Each of us in our own way is helping to preserve
our law enforcement history.

can work something out. I am also looking for old style badges and patches from Monterey County, CA and Santa Clara County, CA agencies.
