The OLS started in 1974 when William Schnute began full time work as a woodcarver.
He has produced numerous art pieces and a great variety of commercial work for
private and commercial installations. This web site shows selected examples
of his work from the past 30 years.
High Relief Woodcarving, published by Sterling Publishing Co. in 1985, revised and updated for printing in 2000, documents the learning curve turning ability into a career.
