The Ramainz
The Ramainz are Dee Dee Ramone (guitar and vocals), Barbara Zampini (Dee Dee's wife - sometimes known as Barbara Ramone, bass and vocals), and Marky Ramone (Drums). The group was first called "The Remains," but they changed the name in 1999 because there was another band with the same name. C.J. Ramone (guitar and vocals) played with The Remains for their first two shows on December 18, 1996, and December 28, 1996. The Remains played without C.J. on April 26, 1997. On November 29, 1997, Ben Trokan (from Marky Ramone and The Intruders) joined The Remains on guitar.
The Ramainz - Live in N.Y.C. In June 1999, the Ramainz released a live album on the GB Music label. Recorded at the Continental in New York City, the album features 21 tracks consisting of 19 classic Ramones songs and 2 new songs. The album is loud, raw, and offers new twists on old songs. "Bad Reputation" (Live) This song is found on the 1998 re-release of Joan Jett's "Bad Reputation" album. It was recorded in New York City at a charity show for radio station WLIR. Joan joins the Remains (as they were then known) for a reved-up version of her classic song. Joan Jett
