C.J. Ward's New Band

Former Ramones bassist C.J. Ward (Ramone) has a new band, Warm Jets.  They have released a 7" single that is available from Acme Records

Ramones Vinyl Available

Scorpio Music has released the first five Ramones albums (Ramones, Rocket to Russia, Leave Home, Road to Ruin, and End of the Century) on "high quality, 180 gram virgin vinyl from the analog master."  The albums are manufactured by Rhino Records and produced under license from Warner Bros. Johnny Ramone Interview

A great interview with Johnny Ramone can be found Supersphere.com.  It is a bit dated, having been done around the time that the Ramones Anthology was released.  Nevertheless, it is an extremely interesting interview with a lot of insight into Johnny's life before, during, and after the Ramones.

Ramones Reunion Confirmed

In an article on www.knac.com, Joey Ramone says that the Ramones will reunite this fall to record a song for the film Too Tough To Die.  They may also make a cameo appearance in the film.  To read the article, go to:

New Dee Dee Song Available for Download

www.musicblitz.com has a new Dee Dee Ramone song, "Bad Little Go-Go Girl," available for download in MP3 format.  The songs features Wayne Kramer of the MC5 on guitar, and was recorded especially for MUSICBLITZ.  "Bad Little Go-Go Girl" has been heard on Dee Dee's recent US tour.

www.officialramones.com Features Unreleased Song

The Ramones official Web site, www.officialramones.com, is offering an unreleased demo song called "Please Don't Leave," which was recorded during the End Of The Century sessions.  It is available in MP3 or streaming RealAudio.

Hear Joey Ramone Via RealAudio

On November 13, 1997, Joey Ramone played a 10-song set at an album release concert for the Iggy Pop tribute We Will Fall: A Tribute to Iggy Pop.  Backed by the New York band 22 Jacks, and joined by Ramones producer Daniel Rey on guitar, Joey looked and sounded great as he led the band through Ramones classics such as "Rockaway Beach," "Blitzkrieg Bop," and "I Wanna Be Sedated".
