The Ramones:
Los Gusanos C.J. Ramone's side project became his full-time gig after the Ramones called it quits. Los Gusanos' music is hard rock/metal, and is very different than the Ramones. The songs are great and should appeal to many Ramones fans. In Los Gusanos, C.J. dropped the surname Ramone and instead used his real last name of Ward. In March, 2000, Los Gusanos broke up. Among the reasons cited were record company problems, revolving drummers, and the departure of guitarist Ed Lynch. Los Gusanos were: C.J. Ward -

Los Gusanos Live!! C.J.'s band Los Gusanos was featured on L.A. Live. For those of you that missed it, the show has been archived and is available via RealAudio at www.lalive.com. The sound quality is not great, but is worth a listen. Just don't expect it to sound like the Ramones. |
