This song was Dee Dee Ramone's first attempt at rap music, under the name Dee Dee King. Released as a 12" single on Rock Hotel Records in 1987. A video was also made for this song. Found on the UK "Something To Believe In" 12". Written by Richie Ramone, this is the only officially-released song that he sang. It is a great song which should have been on an album. Also a b-side on the UK "Howling At The Moon" 12" single. This great song was written by drummer Richie Ramone, a.k.a. Richie Beau. This remix version is a b-side to the "I Wanna Be Sedated" 7" single which was re-released in 1988. One of the hardest Ramones songs to find. It appears on the Get Crazy Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. Background vocals by Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan, a.k.a. Flo & Eddie, a.k.a. The Turtles. Sung by Joey Ramone and Holly Beth Vincent. This version of the duet made famous by Sonny and Cher was released in 1992. This song is a bonus track on the Japanese release of Acid Eaters. It is not found on the U.S. release. Originally performed by the Beach Boys. B-side on the UK "Howling At The Moon" 12" single. Found on the UK "Real Good Time" 12". The Ramones recorded "The Crusher" for their Adios Amigos album. It originally appeared on dee Dee King's Standing In The Spotlight album, released in 1989. The Ramones left out some of the lyrics and the entire fourth verse. |
