Gateway Industries Supported Employment
Since 1986, Gateway Industries has provided employment services to businesses in Monterey and Santa Cruz counties.
For the developmentally disabled adult who is willing and capable, Gateway Industries provides Supported Employment, a service that helps them locate, obtain, and maintain competitive employment in the community. Gateway provides on-the-job training in new tasks and monitors the employees' progress as often and for as long as necessary. For many of these individuals, Gateway paves their way to competitive community employment.
Gateway Industries' Supported Employment program offers businesses dedicated, dependable, and well-supervised employees on either individual or a group basis. We provide a number of options, all of which are flexible enough to meet your employment needs.
Additionally, the Supported Employment team provides businesses ADA compliance assistance by offering advice regarding assistive technologies and accommodation strategies.
