GATEWAY CENTER OF MONTEREY COUNTY,INC. RESIDENTIAL SERVICES
Nestled in the neighborhoods of Pacific Grove, Gateway Center operates two Residential facilities. Our larger facility, which is "HOME" to 49 residents, is located at 850 Congress Avenue. Fully staffed, 24 hours around the clock, Gateway's Residential Program emphasizes increasing independence and consumer choice in all areas of daily living with a special emphasis on community participation. Residents enjoy an active social calendar which includes volunteerism activities, as well as recieving any and all support necessary in the areas of daily living skills, health, and safety.
Our second home houses 6 residents, overlooks the Monterey Bay, and exhibits the enviornment of a family lifestyle setting. Active community participation along with increased independence in daily living skills is the focus of the Home, which is located on Forest Hill Boulevard.
Supported Living Services has been recently added to the Gateway Residential Services menu. Supported Living offers consumers a unique opportunity to reside in an apartment or home of their choice while still recieving all of the necessary support services from Residential staff to meet identified needs and accomplish goals and desires.
