A friend recently recounted a meadow muffin's rant about America being a socialist country. The evidence Mr. Moron adduced to prove this brain-dead bromide was as follows: In 1920, the Federal Government took X amount of taxes from J.Q. Public. Now the Feds take 10X in taxes. Ergo, America is now a socialist state.
I was amazed at my friend while admiring the efficacy of the Council on Foreign Relations' (CFR) brain washing of the hockey puck, who thinks he hates the CFR. My friend failed to zap the schizoid duck speaker with a few basic facts.
1920? Not one paved road across the U.S.A. Then, there was no electric power to over half the people in the country because there was no huge power-generation and grid system serving 98%+ of the citizens. There was no international air system with jets and air-traffic control covering the entire nation. There were no telephones for most people. There was no Internet, TV, radio or most of the modern technological world. On top of this, the U.S. Empire did not spend as much on its war system as all other countries on the planet combined, in 1920.
So, "socialism" must mean modern technology available to the masses and the most expensive Imperial war machine in the history of the world.
Excuse me, but do you really want to revoke the past 76 years of technology and empire?
Good for you. I'll sign on. We can all go back to no jets, TV, phones, electricity, Internet, Pentagon, CIA and all the costs of technology and empire, with one gravel road across the USA. Fine! We can cut taxes to 1920 levels and abolish "socialism."
The "socialist phobia" is a brain implant of Rockefeller and the CFR. It is precisely the people who profess the most pathological hatred of the CFR and Rockefeller who flog their line with perfect fidelity. Those who protest the CFR at the top of their lungs are the fools who are licking the CFR boots by denouncing socialism.
Stupidity, ignorance and brain washing are their own reward. Such fools are their own worst enemy. Personally, I was brought up with the same Rockefeller-CFR brain washing as all the other citizens of America under 60 years of age. I was also brought up to believe in Santa Claus and a dozen other silly things.
The confusion of political and economic systems is the root of the problem. People have been duped into believing that freedom of speech and faith can only exist under a capitalist economic system. This is a monstrous fallacy.
Chile, under Pinochet, was the purest capitalist economic system on earth and systematically murdered anyone who spoke out against the government. Guatemala was a capitalist economic system with no civil rights for the people.
In contrast, Sweden, Denmark, England and such have a blend of socialist and capitalist economic systems with civil rights as good as, and, in some cases, superior to America's.
Analyzing the facts demonstrates that civil rights and economics are independent issues which can be mixed and matched in virtually any combination. Thus, a propaganda-programmed phobia about "socialism" destroying civil liberties is absurd.
In fact, the capitalists in America have done more damage to Constitutional rights in their war against "socialism" than the socialists would probably have done. Rockefeller went from using gun thugs to murder striking workers, to using public relations experts to brainwash workers.
Those who hate socialism love Rockefeller - whether they mean to or not.
