Elaine B's picture books list for WORLD HISTORY PART I
Picture books are great for drawing younger children into your World History 
studies. But I have also found that they can be much more than that. They can 
also enhance your studies of World History with older children by giving them 
a broader perspective of a place and people. Through the stories and the 
pictures in the books they can get a feel for the people and the culture and 
the times in which they lived. Through the use of picture books, our family 
has come away with a richness and depth of understanding that we would not 
have otherwise had.
