PURPOSE OF SECTION
This new section "Between Order and Chaos: mechanisms for manifesting spirit in flesh." is meant to provide a forum for dealing with the mechanics of how spirit expresses in flesh and in this world. The section title comes from the idea that all of CREATION occurs between order and chaos. Too much order, and the system is too frozen to change ... it cannot adapt, so it dies. Too much chaos and there is not enough of a fixed basis for anything to retain a form and hence exist. Somewhere between lies the balance point that permits all life to exist and spirit to express within form.
Let's start the section with a reference to an essay by Ratco Tomic:
Thank you Ratko for sharing it with me, and for allowing me to share it with others here.
MY INITIAL RESPONSE TO ESSAY
WOW! I loved your essay. It tied together many things in a way that I had not seen expressed before ... not even close. Further, it provided a framework to explain the mechanism that has been work all my life ... in particular since April 1993 that has permitted more and more awareness to be realized and expressed through this vessel that I occupy. The processes you describe are exactly what I've been experiencing first hand.
I found it fascinating that this weeks episode of Babylon-5 has a major war break out between the Vorlons (representing order) and the Shadows (representing Chaos). The lead characters WIN their freedom by choosing to NOT choose either one of these. In doing so, the two older races are banished from the galaxy ... to join the other first ones, that a new age my begin. The children have reached adulthood and inherited the world as it were.
Your essay confines itself very well to the natural mechanism by which consciousness is expressing in form. I find myself equally, if not more concerned with the creator of these very processes, with the essence that is able to make the connections, evaluate the goodness of the result and provide appropriate feedback. My focus is on what is driving this expression from the top? What is doing the "expressing in form" and experiencing the results of the expression.
I'd like the new section in the newsletter to serve as a place for interchanging ideas on this matter. In particular, to start identifying practical ways to apply this knowledge in the various societies of which we are a part. Your essay is exactly the kind of thing that might start opening the minds of people that are heavy into the technical/science/logic side and allow them to see that the "touchy-feely" and intelligent stuff is just a natural extension of how basic complex systems work.
You might find my recent interaction with MCI interesting. It is a perfect example of using feedback to strengthen/weaken various links related to providing customer service. Interesting that it should be occurring during the very period of time when I was reading your essay.
