Musings of a Spiritual Warrior

30 June 1998

All great works are done with LOVE for the work that is being done and with a great deal of intuition. Much of our lives can be seen as a training ground for intuition ... for the knowingness that permits us to do the right thing in accord with our abilities automatically -- without having to think about it. When we think, we are rationale. The rationale is always consumed with the parts. When we intuit, we go "into it" and are able to bring forth a creation or expression that is from the soul, a wholistic expression. In fact, such is what CREATION is all about. Our creations are not perfect; the machines, the works of art, the music, the dance, the architecture, ... can only approximate the inspiration that is their driving force. The creations are limited by the imperfections in the basic materials out of which such creations are constructed.

Much of the history of the world is driven by the nature of the building materials that we have available. With great music, we have been able to move the mind beyond thinking to experiencing a harmony that it does not otherwise see in the world. Note, it is not that this harmony is not there, rather that we are not able to see it through our normal senses and we do not seem to be able to manifest it in our creations. Visionary paintings, poetry and other illumined writings have provided snapshots as well of what a perfect world might be. These too appear far from being realized. But then, we still exist within an illusion of the world that we see through imperfect glasses, our senses.

But what has this to do with the "real world", with the day to day world that we experience? My answer is more than you could possibly dream. We are in the midst of creating a perfect world now, everywhere, on all fronts simultaneously. The choreography of consciousness is incredible. Everything is in place that needs to be in place, and everything is unfolding in its proper timing. Each of us is being made aware of exactly what we need to be aware of in each moment. Each of us is doing what we are moved to do. Further, it has always been such, for there is no other mode in which spirit can express. We all get exactly what we need. We all give what we are capable of giving. What is open is the collective level of awareness that results and how soon we take responsibility for our collective creation. Note that we have always been responsible by spiritual law, however, we did not consciously take responsibility.

We are rapidly reaching a point where it is time for us to grow up ... to become adults and take responsibility for ourselves so that our parents can be free to go on to other adventures. They have earned a vacation, watching over and caring so lovingly for us since our creation. One thing they long for is to see how we see ourselves, our world, and them without the control structures that were necessary in our childhood. Further, they long to participate in our lives in a whole new way, lovingly as adult to adult, in true relationships that are richer and deeper than anything experienced to date. Further still, they anxiously await seeing and experiencing what we would create of our own free will consciously.

All the signs around me keep boiling down to the idea that Graduation Day is close at hand. The movie Independence Day that was such a hit last year was a major sign. In the ninth (and final) issue of The Search for Center Newsletter, the focus was on a Declaration of Cooperative Interdependence. The issue came out on 4 July 1997 with a proposed date of signature in one year. At this point, that one year is here in four days. If the "so let it be written, so let it be done" power of creation has ordained this, then indeed, cooperative interdependence will be a reality throughout the land at that time. How this will manifest remains to be seen. However, I have no reason to doubt that it will indeed be manifest and not only in this country, but throughout the world.

I'm fascinated by the nature of these writings once again. How can such come through so clearly? How can the statements be made so matter of factly? By what authority are such pronouncements made? Even after over five years of spending extensive amounts of time in states of mind that permit these communications, I still do not know. They come forth from a source that remains unknown. The words appear in my mind as if out of thin air. I am intensely aware of the process of bringing them forth through my fingers on the keyboard. My focus is relaxed, permitting this channel to come through, sensing errors in letters as I type and correcting them on the fly. At the same time, I am aware of watching myself doing this. I can see my body, and even the rims of my glasses. I see everything in the room, the fan rotating, my dog lying on the floor. I hear all the sounds in the room, the stereo playing, the fan, the thump of the wall hanging when the fan blows it. And, I am aware of being aware of all of this simultaneously. In fact, my association is most with the awareness that is able to watch all of this simultaneously. To that awareness, what is coming through is automatic. The watcher sees what happens. In this state, I have no awareness of creating what is happening. I can change the focus and pay more attention to any parts of the experience, thus changing the specifics of my experience to some degree, but I do not change the environment that I am watching.

At another level, I can get up and make changes. I can turn off the fan, or change the station on the radio, or stop typing and turn off the computer. However, while I am choosing to be in this state of bringing material through, I limit my actions to those things within the reach of this immediate focus. I accept that the environment is what it is and do not allow the background to get in the way of permitting this communication to come through. It is as if my palms are glued to the laptop that I am using. In fact, I am accutely aware of how much pressure is applied under my left palm while the right palm rests lighter. I don't type very fast, using most of my fingers. I'm not aware of directing my fingers and I seem to hear the words in my head just slightly before they are typed. There is limited sense of the whole of the communication, even on a sentence by sentence basis, because the process has a word by word focus. Yet, there is an inner sense that the communication is complete and correct. I typically do not go back and read what is written until after I am done writing for the session or the day. Rarely do I go back and rewrite or correct anything that has come through. My sense is that since I have no awareness of being the source of what is written, it is not right for me to judge or try to correct or improve it in any way. This has been constant since the writings began. The writings are flow of consciousness. Their value comes from the fact that they are flows of consciousness, without the mind getting in the way.

It should be obvious by now that I love what I do when I am expressing in this manner. This is my way of serving spirit. Also, I am amazed by what comes forth. There is a richness in meaning that draws me back time and time again as my awareness changes to see once again what was expressed with a new set of eyes. Hopefully, they will do the same for you, lifting you to new heights that you too may soar on the wings of eagles.

Be Happy and Create Well!

LOVE,

Wayne
