Right Triangles and Pythagorean Triples have caught my attention lately. Specifically, (3,4,5) and (5,12,13) since these form a solid base for expression in two planes.

My sense is that the first of these corresponds to space and the latter to time. The share a 5 in common. Also, 3 x 4 x 5 = 5 x 12 = 60. There are 60 minutes in an hour and 60 seconds in a minute. From this we have basic dimensions of time and space.

There are only 16 are primitive triplets with Hypotenuse less than 100:

(3,4,5), (5,12,13), (8,15,17), (7,24,25), (20,21,29), (12,35,37), (9,40,41), (28,45,53), (11,60,61), (33,56,65), (16,63,65), (48,55,73), (36,77,85), (13,84,85), (39,80,89), and (65,72,97)

Note that the seventh triple is very much where I am at now. 9:The Hermit, at Age 40, about to become 41:Wayne = Ace of Cups in four months. Note also that the next (eighth) triple is the first primitive triplet with a perfect number as one element. The first perfect number is 6. It appears in the first non-primitive triplet (6,8,10).

This is particularly curious since I saw a license plate 2HRB828 on the way home tonight. This is 2H | R | B8 | 28 = 28 | 18 | 28 | 28. YES, very close to being 28:Two of Wands, Man with the world in his hands on four planes! 18: The Moon occurs on the second plane. This is also The Hermit x 2.

Master numbers 11, 33, 55, and 77 occur at triplet 9, 10, 12, and 13 respectively. That seems appropriate since these are very important transformation cards in the Tarot.

Hypoteneuse lengths: 5, 13, 17, 25, 29, 37, 41, 53, 61, 65, 65, 73, 85, 85, 89, 97

Note that 65 and 85 occur twice! 5 x 13 and 5 x 17. These are at steps 10-11 and 13-14.

Of these 16 primitive triplets, seven are twin triplets (defined as triplets for which two members are consecutive integers). The first few twin triplets, sorted by increasing c, are:

(3, 4, 5), (5, 12, 13), (7, 24, 25), (20, 21, 29), (9, 40, 41), (11, 60, 61), (13, 84, 85),

(15, 112, 113), ....

A revelation just came to me. These triples are "perfection points", right triangles with integer length sides, including the hypoteneuse. Our "fuzzy logic" algorithms assess how far patterns are from these points and provide stimuli that move us more toward these perfection points.

This is connected to something I discussed with a co-worker last week concerning video games and how they were training kids minds to operate in optimistic ways for attacking particular kinds of problems. We have an entire generation trained in this manner. All we need to do is frame our problems in game terms to unleash these abilities for the good of all mankind.

As you can tell, my wanderings go far beyond what mathematics addresses. I'm looking for practical ways that these numbers relate to our experience of reality. One fundamental premise makes all of this possible -- an unshakeable belief that thought indeed preceeds form and that vibration is truly the source of all reality. Vibration is frequency ... is number! There is nothing else save spirit in expression and experiencing whom that it is through it's creations.

I'm watching A Walk in the Clouds as I write this. It is just after the fire when Paul (Keanu Reaves) pulled out the original root from which all the grape vines at Las Loomes had been created. They find life in the root and the story ends happily ever after with the Orphan Paul finding his family!

Here too is a connection. My dad was an orphan around the time this movie was set in; and I as The Hermit am separated from others in a like manner. My spiritual parents are not physical. Hmm ...

The final pan out to the view of Las Loomes is breathtaking ... the stuff dreams are made of, as is his wife Victoria for that matter.
