Musings of a Spiritual Warrior

29 January 2002

Caught a brief moment of President Bush's State of the Union address.  In it, he was calling for every American to give two years, 4000 hours, of the remainder of their life in service to their fellow citizens and the people of the world.  I found this remarkable.  It is not quite a tithe of time, but it is a good start toward reaching that.  4000 divided by 40 years is 100 hours per year or roughly 2 hours per week.  That's half of what I have suggested as the right amount of time for us to give in voluntary service to society.  If a considerable number of people step up to their obligations ... that will unleash a great deal of energy to do good works in society.  Since 9/11, we've seen people come together and care for one another in ways that we have not seen for quite some time.  This demonstrates the true fiber and character of Americans, and to some degree of the people of the world.  It makes it clear that we do indeed have a spiritual nature and that this nature seeks expression.

As I write this I just caught a glimpse of the title of a book that I started reading a long time ago ... OuT of CoNTRoL. I don't even remember what it is about.  The title just seemed appropriate to my present state of consciousness.  It is indeed as if I am out of control in a way, definitely operating outside of the norm, and definitely not in conscious control of what I am experiencing and expressing.  Yes, this means living life on the edge ... not on the physical edge as some people do, but on the mental and spiritual edges.  Hmm ... in my figures, sometimes I place numbers on vertices, and at other times I place them on edges.  Numbers divisible by 12 correspond to the edges of a cube or a square double pyramid.  The double pyramid shapes remind me of diamonds.

156 = 2 x 78 = 2 x 22 + 2 x 56 = 12 x 13:The square double pyramid with edges of 13:Death.

34 + 34 + 50 + 50 = 168 = 156 + 12:The Hanged Man.  The image that comes to mind is the Death double pyramid with the Hanged Man suspended in the middle.  This is the double of my Heart's Desire and Personality numbers.  I definitely relate to the Hanged Man hanging by his foot and seeing the world upside down, thus seeing it rightly.  This reminds me of a license plate that I parked behind in Mountain View in 1994 ...88 88 88 L.  Completion on three planes and 12:The Hanged Man in the fourth domain.  The sense now is that the 12 is actually in the physical domain.  I've always been at odds with the conventional world.  Oh, I can operate within it well enough ... but it is not my native domain.  My true home is in the Stars and in spirit.

I use spirit, source and consciousness interchangeably.  I firmly believe that there is only ONE consciousness that animates us all.  Because of this, incredible cooperation can take place beneath the surface at other than conscious levels to create the reality that we experience.  The time has come to start acting more responsibly and consciously choose to cooperate and graduate as the saying goes.

Just saw the number for the Nimitz in the movie Final Countdown.  It was 68:Page of Wands = WAYNE = 4 x 17, the square of The Star.

9

9 .............................9
23

9 ...............9

This is 9 - 5 - 9 in the middle, or rearranged with a 9 into and out of the page, we have the double pentagonal pyramid. This is a form of expression of 2-5, my first two rays.  The total for the figure is 5 + 7 x 9 = 5 + 63 = 68.  Looking out from the center through any vertice, we have 59.  I'm not sure why, but this is a number that I have come to associate with the Aquarian Age.  5 is man.  9 is completion and the Enneagram.

I'm bouncing all over the place tonight.  The energy is strange.  I don't know how else to describe it.  There is something about 17:The Star, that I am missing.  Something says to break 68 down as:

12

5
12 ...... 5 .......... 5 ...... 12
5

12

This has 34:My Hearts Desire on each of the two axis, 17:The Star facing out from the center in each direction, and 12:The Hanged Man as the real component facing out in each direction.  The total ideal component is 20:Judgement, the judgement of God, not the judgment of man.  The sum of the real parts is 4 x 12 = 48:The Man in Search of More.

Just noticed that the difference between 34:My Hearts Desire and 50:My Personality just happens to be 16:The Tower, my signature card in the Tarot.  The sum of all three of these is 34 + 50 + 16 = 100, the first expression in three dimensions.  This is 78:Tarot Completion + 22:Major Arcana Completion.  It is also 88 + 12:The Hanged Man.

To get to 100, we need to add 8 to each arm.  The sense is that we should do this between the 5 and the 12.

12

8

5
12 ...... 8 ...... 5 .......... 5 ...... 8 ...... 12
5

8

12

This yields 25:Knight of Wands in each direction, 5+8 = 13:Death in the ideal, and 12:The Hanged Man in the real.  This is one step from having a balanced real and ideal component.  From the 8's out we have 20:Judgement.  The total ideal component is 52:The Queen of Swords.  The total real component is still 48:The Man in Search of More.

Enough for numbers for awhile.  It will be curious to see to what degree people respond to President Bush's challenge to serve.  He got it right ... the key is to treat this as a responsibility, and a sacred one at that.  As citizens, we owe something to our fellow citizens.  This comes close to being a contract, except it doesn't have any reciprocal terms.  It asks that each of us gives and does good works but doesn't explicitly state what we get in turn.  Clearly, this is a kinder, gentler, safer society.  Perhaps that is enough.  Also, there is great satisfaction that comes from doing something useful for society.  This satisfaction is a reward in and of itself.  We volunteer because we know that it is the right thing for us to do.  Further, it is only right that everyone volunteer ... because it is not fair for a smaller group of us to have to carry the load for all.  It is time that we collectively take responsibility for our society and our world.  These are, after all, what we jointly and cooperatively make them to be.  Yes, we create our reality.  We are individually and collectively responsible for everything that we experience.

I AM THAT I AM THAT YOU ARE!   Be Happy and Create Well!

LOVE,

Wayne
