Musings of a Spiritual Warrior

21 January 2002

Yes, that makes three straight weeks of musings.  Clearly, the energy has shifted in a manner that facilitates this expression once more.  I'm loving it.  This is when I am most fully engaged in being all that I can be.  This is what I live for ... the expression of spirit in flesh to the greatest degree possible here and now.  This is when life is its most magical.  There is something about allowing consciousness to bring forth what she will through us that brings out the most in us.  It is in this service that we engage our talents and abilities in the most beneficial way to society and the world.  It is here that we make the word flesh, allowing ideas to see the light of day in new and unique ways.  And it is from such ideas that beliefs are formed that in turn attract and create the reality we experience.  Yes, we create our reality through our beliefs ... through the ideas that we hold so strongly that we choose to act in accord with.  For that is the difference between a thought and a belief; the willingness to act in accord with the belief.  It is through our actions that we make our intentions known to consciousness.

So, what do we as a society believe?  What ideas do we hold so strong collectively, that we choose to collectively demonstrate them by our actions?  Freedom seems to be one of these.  But, this is generally expressed as individual freedom rather than collective freedom.  Since 9/11, there is also a sense of unity and connection to spirit in the United States that hasn't been felt in some amount of time.  There are many billboards and bumper stickers with United We Stand and In God We Trust.  And, there are many flags; flying on cars, hanging on residences, and as displayed as stickers on cars.  It is too bad we haven't found a way to harness this collective energy and goodwill in a manner that makes a lasting difference to society.  Perhaps this is occurring, but I am just not aware of it.  I don't see any bold new initiatives happening in society, in the government, or in the economy.  However, there is a sense that the collective creative expression has stepped up a notch or two.   The expression of spirit in popular songs, television programs, and movies seems to be much more blatant and obvious than in times past.  I don't have any specific examples that I can recall off the top of my head ... just a general impression of being moved more deeply by all of these forms of mass media than I have ever been before.

Give the Heavens above more than just a passing glance ... promise me you'll give faith a fighting chance ... are some phrases from the song  I Hope You'll Dance that plays on the radio as I right this.  Both of these passages have clear spiritual content, pointing to a way of living in the world that actively embraces the Heavens and faith.

I went back to revisit some writings from July 1995, a time when I was on a real spiritual high and was waxing eloquently about weaving a peaceful world and creating a true community.  Revisiting those words allowed me to re-experience those wonderful states once again.  As I write this Elton John's song Can't You Feel the Love Tonight just started playing on the radio.  It too has a strong spiritual message ... there's a time for everyone, if they only learn, that the twisting kaleidoscope moves us all in turn.   Indeed, such is the case.   Each of us is moved by spirit when our destiny calls for our role to be played out, whatever role that might be.

At this moment, I AM THAT I AM, spirit expressing in flesh to the greatest degree possible in this moment.  This is true in every moment for everyone.  I am not unique in that regard.  Yes, we are all unique expressions of spirit.  But, the point is that we are all expressions of spirit.  The goal is to awaken and become more aware so that we can allow spirit to flow through us to an ever greater degree.  We are always becoming more ... more of whom that we truly are, which is spirit in flesh.  Currently, the infrastructure and support systems of the world do not facilitate either spiritual growth or spiritual expression.  For many, this aspect of their life is left to the domain of religion and practiced primarily on Sunday mornings.  This is very limiting, and clearly not what is meant to be.  We are spiritual creatures 24 hours per day / 7 days per week  / 365.2422 days per year.  That is, all the time!  It is high time that we truly lived our lives this way, and behaved in accordance with our spiritual principles at least on a regular basis.  But, what about those who don't believe ... in god, in spirit, or in anything of that nature?  The bottom line is that they are expressions of spirit just the same.  Spirit has given us free will to construct whatever limitations we care to construct in our individual worlds.  She is there to show us how to get beyond these limitations whenever we are ready and take the time to ask and listen to what she would tell us.  However, we must take the initiative.  So long as we are satisfied with our chains, and freely choose to bear them, we will do exactly that.  It is for us to recognize that we are in bondage before we can remove the shackles that hold us back from being all that we could be.  It is amazing how used to our shackles we can become ... even interpreting them as the fruits of liberty at times.  Seeing them in this light may make them easier to bear, but in the long run makes it far more difficult to shed them; primarily for fear of what alternatives might take their place.

If we would be truly free, we must connect to our soul, the individual manifestation of spirit that we are.  As the title of Paul Twitchell's autobiography said "In my Soul, I am Free".  This is the place to find true freedom; freedom that cannot be limited or abridged by anything done by man in our world.  Actually, it may be the only place where we are really free.  It seems that no matter how loosely tied to the world that we are, we still experience restriction and limits.  This reminds me of Jonathan Livingstone Seagull and the idea that any speed, no matter how fast, is still limited.  Ultimate speed comes from simply being there ... realizing that one is already wherever one desires to be.  I'm not sure how to apply this.  It seems that we can do this in our consciousness, but not in the physical.  Then again, I haven't explored this enough to know if it can be done physically.

The workings of consciousness are indeed mysterious, and rightly so.  Consciousness springs from the unknown, and perhaps the unknowable.  It seems that no matter how far we expand, and how many awakenings we undergo, there is always more.  I've always had a strong attraction to the fringes of knowledge ... and to the questions that lie at the limits of our collective understanding.  This is the wilderness of consciousness.  It is here that I am called to explore and to report of what I find.  This endeavor is what makes my heart sing and my spirit soar.  It excites me to my very core.  There is no thing that I would rather do.  Bravely going forth, one step following the next, trusting that consciousness will keep me safe ... knowing that there is always room for one more step.  This is what the 0 and 22:The Fool card is all about.  This is my Heart's Desire.  It is what I live for; it is what makes my life what it is.  No, my life is not for everyone.  Many would be bored by it.  Others would find it far too self centered and far too mental.  Still others might find it crazy.  I've often questioned this myself ... whether these are the musings of a madman, one who has lost touch with reality.  But, I have concluded that such is not the case.  My sense is that I am sane and that the musings make sense, even if they do not agree with the consensus point of view or even any substantial point of view.  I make connections, creating a web that constitutes the world and reality as I understand it.  That I am moved to make connections that others do not seem to be making is of no import.  The connections that I make follow a logic and reason, and more often, an intuition of their own.

The Animal Card for the spider, says to "build me a peaceful world".  That is exactly what I am here to do.  My personal world is already quite peaceful, it always has been.  However, seeing the consensus world, gives me cause for concern that I still may be missing something important.  There may be something in my personal world that corresponds to these things in the outer world.  At this point, I don't know what that might be.  But, as usual, when I start asking the questions, I'm usually ready to hear the answers.  It seems that such is spiritual law.  Questions are one of the tools we consciously use to focus our awareness on what we most need to know.  Prior to 1993, I went through life without really using this tool.  I read a lot, and had an inner sense of what was true and false ... but I didn't really formulate and ask questions.  All through school, including my years in college and graduate schools, I never really asked any questions.  In metaphysics, I read alot and followed my interests - relying on spirit and intuition to guide me to the books that I needed to read and the ideas that I needed to find.  But again, I didn't do this with any questions in mind.  I simply absorbed whatever I was lead to discover.  This served me well for many years.  However, the bottom line was that I was living my life in automatic so to speak.

peaceful = 75135633 = 7/12/13/16/21/27/30/33:The Master Teacher.  (This is also Self = 19/24/27/33)

Peaceful = 33 + 9 = 42:Two of Cups again.  Man and Female coming together under the Winged Lion above the caduceus.

PEACEFUL = 33 + 36 = 69:Ace of Pentacles

All three of these are interesting qualities for an ideal world.  Then again, it is time to make the ideal real.  Hmm ... both of these words end in "eal".  The change required is from "id" to "r" or from 94:The Tower Exalted to 18:The Moon.  94 is 22+ 8x9.  This is the 9 cube with 22 in the center.  It is not clear how to interpret 18 at this time.  In spanish, real is royal.  El Camino Real is the Road of Kings.  Interesting that we have been talking about entering the 23:xx cycle of 88 being the first expression of the Minor Arcana of the Tarot.  In fact 23:King of Wands is the first of four Kings.  The others are 37, 51, and 65.  The King are 88 completions of one another.  23 + 65 = 88, 37 + 51 = 88.

Ideal starts with idea and ends in L = 12:The Hanged Man.  It also can be broken out as I deal = 9 13 = The Hermit:Death.  Ideal reversed = lead I = 13 9 = Death of the Hermit.  Lead I also represents seeing the world with a leading I = 9.  This relates back to all of the geometric forms with 9's at the end of each arm.  These are all ideal forms.  It takes the Death of the Hermit to make these real.  This clearly applies to me.  So long as I am the Hermit, my world is still ideal.  To make it real, I need to adopt a different form.  The sense is that wayne = 23 is the appropriate form.  23 -- 16 -- 23  comes to mind a a starting point.  The total is 23+16+23= 62, which happens to be my personality number.  Adding two more 23's yields 108, the factor needed to create the cube.  Twice 108 is 216 is 6 x 6 x 6:The Beast.

46

46 ......... 32 ......... 46

46

This is 32:Six of Wands = America = "I AM race".  The sum of the four arms is 46 x 4 = 184, the final three of my SSN.  So, this is how to make the ideal real.  Each of the two dimensions is 46 + 32 + 46 = 124 = 62 x 2.  Actually, it seem that each of the 46's should be split into two 23's.  The eight 23's that result split into two for each of four dimensions.  That makes each arm = 23 - 32 - 23, for a total of 78:Tarot Completion.  How perfect for expression in the real world!  The Tarot is the Royal Road of the Self expressing in flesh.  How appropriate that 23 would get us there.  Note, the sum of the arms is still 184.

There is a sense that I am onto something here.  216 = 6x6x6 = 2x2x2 x 3x3x3 = 8 x 27.  This is a form of 27 28, my address in Redondo Beach 15 years ago.  27 x 28 = 756, the drivers of my Triangle Tarot readings.  Hmm ... there is a sense that I am in the drivers seat now, in a way that I have never been before.  So far, it is just a feeling.  A strong one, but just a feeling nonetheless.  Something new has happened.  My world has been shaken to its core again.  I don't know where this will lead, but I trust that it is right.  Spirit has never steered me wrong before.  I have no reason to doubt her now.

I've always felt that 666, the sign of the beast, was much maligned.  As 216, it's 888 completion is 672 = 6 x 112.  Interesting that 112, the 1000 completion of 888 would be a factor.  672 is also 28 to 7 = 2827.  Again, 28 x 27 = 756.  So both 216 and its 888 completion have connections to 756 and hence directly to me personally.  It is also strange that 666 = 6 x 111, while the 888 completion to 6x6x6 = 672 = 6 x 112.  The sense is that the process of multiplication took us from the ideal to the world of the real.  112 is 2 x 56, so 672 = 12 x 56.  This is the cube with edges of length 56, the number of cards in the Minor Arcana of the Tarot.  Hmm ... the Major Arcana is the archetypes, the world of the ideals.  The Minor Arcana is the practical cycle, the world of the real.  The Minor Arcana breaks down into four suits of 14 cards each.  14 is 2 x 7:The Chariot.  The sense is that this is the way in which we are to approach the real world ... not as the Hermit, but as The Chariot.

7 - x - 7 in each of four dimensions.  The way one approaches the world depends on how one fills the middle, and on how many dimensions one actualizes.

7 -  9 -  7 = 23: King of Wands
7 - 23 - 7 = 37: King of Cups ; This is also 7 - 9- 7 in two dimensions.
7 - 37 - 7 = 51: King of Swords ; This is also 7 - 9 - 7 in three dimensions.
7 - 51 - 7 = 69: King of Pentacles ; This is also 7 - 9 - 7 in four dimensions.

So, for me, it seems that I make the ideal real by surrounded 9 with 7:The Chariot on each side in one then two then three then four dimensions of expression.  Interesting from the middle out, this is 9+7 = 16:The Tower, my characteristic card.  So this is how we shatter the illusions and make the ideal real.  7:The Chariot is an interesting card in its own right.  It is curious that its balance point on the other side of 9 is 11:The first Master Number.  Also interesting is that in the game of craps, 7 and 11 on the first roll are winners.

It is appropriate that 7 - 9 - 7 = 23 would be the way to express in the real world.  After all, this is the first number in the Minor Arcana.

7: THE CHARIOT

To reach 7 - 9 - 7, the Hermit must experience the 14 cards in the Wands suit.  We start with 0 - 9 - 0, and step through some path to reach 7 - 9 - 7, one step at a time.  Up front, it seems that the even and odd cards express on different sides.

King  Knight  Ace  3  5  7  9 ....... 9:The Hermit ....... 10  8  6  4  2  Page  Queen

28:Two of Wands is The Man with the World in His Hands.  This occurs at  3 ...... 9 ...... 3 which seems to be 9:33 = The Hermit: The Master Teacher.  This would make 9:11 = Queen of Wands = 24 = "X".

I AM THAT I AM THAT YOU ARE!   Be Happy and Create Well!
