Again, I've allowed over two months to go by since I last came here to express.  In many ways, the time has just flown by.  However, looking back, there was plenty of time to write if spirit had so moved me to express.  I'm not sure why there is such an ebb and flow.  I haven't analyzed it to see if there is a pattern or cycle of some type involved.  I sense that there is, but it may not be a simple one.  So, what brings me here today?  Once again, I do not know.  I  observe that I am moved to express and I open the editor and start a new page.  The process is easy.  Though, I know not what is to come through.  It has been this way for over seven years, since the writings began in 1993.

We are about to choose the man who will lead the generation into the real new millenium.  I sense this will be Al Gore.  Ruth Montgomery said this person would be a walk-in many years ago in one of her books.  With his overwhelming concern for the environment and the deep personal tragedy he has experienced in the loss of his son, he may indeed be the one.  Also, when Clinton was having his difficulties over a year ago, I was moved to write an e-mail to Al Gore saying it appeared to me that he would indeed be the man to lead us into the new millenium.

My role in the affairs of men remains open.  In my work environment, I have some impact.  However, socially there is almost no interaction with others except for my wife and my dog.  My experience is still very much as the hermit, isolated from others most of the time.  My natural state is to be alone.  Such has been the case all of my life.  Because of this, I have virtually no sense of how others see the world and experience reality.  It is obvious that they do not see things from the same perspective.  But then, it is not clear that there are really any common perspectives ... at least not at other than a surface level.  Then again, looking at the mass media and belief and value systems being promulgated through it ... there must be a reflection of mass beliefs and mass values that is occurring.  Some of the new channels make it appear that we are moving to become a kinder, gentler society where spirit indeed is given berth for expression.  I'm thinking of stations like PAX TV.

I'm still biding my time, waiting for the moment in which I am moved to act in line with my destiny per the plan of consciousness.  When this will come, I know not.  But I am ever ready for it to come.  In the meantime, I work and observe and try to keep the spiritual perspective in everything that I do.  The bottom line is that I don't know what else to do.  Life is somewhat comfortable as it is, though it is not clear that comfortable is good or is in line with the pursuit of happiness.  It is not clear whether I am happy or not.  I definitely am not one to spring out of bed in the morning excited about what the day will bring.  Though, there have been a few days in my life where such was my experience.  In many respects, it seems that I am not really living, that I am not fully participating in life.  Perhaps this is the problem.  Change requires a new attitude.  I am grateful for all that I have ... but there is a sense that it is just not enough.  There is something important that is lacking.  The one thing that comes to mind is friends.  These have been few and far between in my life.  I recall some advice "to have a friend, you must be a friend".  In many respects, I am my own best friend ... and my only best friend.

So, what do I do about it?  How do I change the reality that I experience?  The first step is to start being interested in others, not at a surface level, but really interested in them as fellow expressions of the ONE spirit, the ONE consciousness.  This requires taking the focus off of self for awhile and truly placing it on the other as if that other were one's self.  Hmm ... that seems like sound advice.  The question becomes on whom to place one's focus.  It's easiest if one starts with people that are already in one's life.  These are the people with whom one has a common basis from which to begin.  Start with common interests and search for the spiritual reflection that these people provide in your life.  Friendships can elicit some powerful transformational experiences.  In so doing, they can bring much joy and much peace ... but also much challenge.  Friendships force one to look deeply at whom one is.  They require sharing and caring to fuel their fire.  But, their fire is that of love itself, the strongest force in the universe ... yet also the gentlest.

If I know what to do, then why can't I just do it?  You are still concerned with how you appear to others, and about being judged as unworthy in their eyes.  This stems from judging yourself too harshly.  Others pick up on this energy and act accordingly ... no matter how hard you try to suppress it.  This indicates that something is out of balance.  While it operates, you are not free to be all that you could be.  It is time to get this judgment monkey off your back.  You've lived with and been restricted by it all of your life.  You are OK as you are!  You are worthy of the abundance the universe would bestow on her children.  You have followed the spiritual path that was right for you.  You are a unique expression of spirit and have allowed her to express through you often and at length over the past seven years.  You've earned the right to spiritual freedom.  Step out of your shackles now, and don't look back.  They served you well.  They got you here.  That is all that matters.

Your seeking is over.  The door to the kingdom now lies before you.  All you have to do is knock, then ask.  The door will be opened and you will receive in abundance.  You stand on the threshold of a dream ... a dream about to be made reality.  Allow spirit to speak through you as she will.  You are still the scribe and voice for consciousness during this transition to a new age.  It is but for you to do as you came to do.  You know this to be your calling and your mission.  We are telling you that more emphasis will be required in the time immediately ahead.  As always, simply do as you are moved by spirit to do.  What is done, is done through you, not by you.  There is a big difference, one of which you are intimately aware.  Yet, at the same time, it is but a greater YOU whom works through you.  There is only ONE consciousness which animates us all.  It is only the "eyes" = I's which see things from restricted perspectives.  Allow your vision to expand to be as large as you can make it.  This will enable you to be the best tool through which spirit can express.

In many ways, your life will be what you make of it.  It seems that much of it is on automatic, and that there is little that you can do to change it or control it.  Free will is still a player here.  You do have choices and they could impact what is.  However, you can also operate on autopilot if you will and allow the plan to unfold as it will.  Most people get in the way of their autopilot.  Also, there are times when the conditions are such that autopilot is not sophisticated enough to deal with them.  You will know when you reach such a state in your life.  You are not there yet.  But, you may be at some point in the future.
