Give none offence:

1Corinthians 10:32; Give none offense, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:

God says, do not offend anyone. When we present the gospel of Jesus Christ we should not present it in an offensive manner. That brings to mind an old saying that I heard many years ago: You will catch more bees with honey than you will with vinegar. I suppose that could be an analogy of not offending. Just a thought.

How should we follow Christ?

This statement or rather this verse did offend at least one of my readers. He said he did not follow Paul he follows Jesus. Here Paul is saying follow Jesus, but, follow Jesus like I follow Him, after His heavenly ministry and not after the flesh, which is His earthly ministry to the Jews only. If we believe God how can we be offended by anything that he says. If we are offended by His words we can take it up with the Judge Jesus Christ at the Great White Throne.

1Corinthians 4:16. Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.

1Corinthians 11:1. Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

Philippians 3:17. Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an example.

Follow Christ as Paul followed Him. The Lord Jesus Christ did not leave us with out an example He gave us the apostle Paul. Three times above the Holy Spirit tells us to follow Paul, follow Paul as he follows Christ.

1Timothy 1:16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

(Q) What must I do to be Saved?

(A) Believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ, That Paul preached.

The basic gospel:

1Corinthians 15:1-4

v1. Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
v2. By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
v3. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
v4. And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Galatians 1:8-12

v8. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

v9. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed

v10. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
v11. But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
v12. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Galatians 1:8-12 is speaking of Paul's gospel that was hid in the mind of God before the world began; but now it is made known to all men
by the apostle Paul.

Titus 2:11-12.

v11. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
v12. Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

What gospel?-My Gospel verses:

Romans 2:16 . In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

Romans 16:25. Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

2Timothy 2:8. Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead, according to my gospel.

Note:

Not one of the twelve apostles ever referred to the gospel that he preached as " My Gospel". This is strictly a Pauline term given to the apostle Paul's preaching alone. Frankly because, Paul's gospel is different, in that it is completely free of the law of Moses and Paul's gospel includes Jews and Gentiles alike. It is very different from the gospel preached by the Lord Jesus Christ in His earthly ministry to the Jews only, because Christ preached the gospel of the kingdom, under the law, and it is for the Jews only. How can we rightly divide the word of truth , if we do not know where to start?

But, we do know where we should start dividing! Divide between the gospel of the grace of God and the gospel of the kingdom. Finally between the nation Israel and the church the body of Christ. The kingdom gospel was to and for the nation Israel alone. But the gospel of the grace of God is for all mankind. The Kingdom gospel is Christ's earthly message for the Jews only; speaking of the Jewish message, Paul was inspired to write this verse, 2Cor.5:16 to show us that Christ's earthly message was not for us!

2Corinthians 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

The gospel that Paul preached can not be found in any other Scriptures prior to Acts 9, because it was hid in the mind of God , it was a secret. And God deals with His secrets in this way:

Deuteronomy 29:29

v29. The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever...

Therefore if we do not view the Scriptures dispensationly, we can not rightly divide them. Paul's gospel is not just another style of preaching for a different audience as some might say. Paul's gospel is altogether a different gospel. Paul was the master builder of a new church whose foundation is Jesus Christ.  Instructions for this new church was given directly to the apostle Paul by the risen and glorified Lord Jesus Christ in heaven.

You will not find this new teaching of Paul in the Four Gospels nor will you find it in any other part of the Scripture it was first revealed to the apostle Paul. The Lord Jesus Christ commissioned the apostle Paul to administer the Gospel of the grace of God to all mankind.

Yes, He Is Always the same: But He does not always do things the same way!

Hebrews 13:8. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and for ever.
1Corinthians 12:6. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

Hebrews 13:8 is true beyond any doubt, but being the same does not mean doing everything the same way. Look at 1Cor.12:6. Christ deal's differently with mankind from time to time. And these times of change are called dispensations. God alone can make these changes. From creation until now, I count at least six dispensational changes, there could be more or less I am not sure.
  1. From Adam till sin came in.

  2. From Adam's sin to Noah.

  3. From Noah to Abram.

  4. From Abraham to Moses.

  5. From Moses to Paul.

  6. From Paul to the Rapture.

Although God's attributes does not change, He does change the way He deals with mankind from time to time. I hope you can see this. I have noted sixth dispensational changes From Paul to the rapture.  Now we are in the dispensation of the Grace of God. This dispensation was brought about by Jesus Christ's revelation of the mystery to the apostle Paul, this mystery had been hid in the mind of God before the world began, but now it is revealed for us by the apostle Paul.

Far to many so called Christians today want only to hear things from the Old Testament and the four gospels, neglecting the gospel of the grace of God, that God gave to the apostle Paul, for the world today. No matter where we search, we can not find salvation for a Gentile or the entire world today outside of the Scripture written by the apostle Paul.

Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

2Corinthians 4:3-4

v3. But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
v4. In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

The Lord Jesus Christ sent Paul up to Jerusalem by revelation to communicate his gospel to the eleven plus James the Lord's half brother, afterwards Peter said, some things of Paul was hard to be understood. But, Peter in his final days understood and reminds the Jews that all of Paul's writings are Scripture and they had better seek it out, because it is for the Jews now as well.

2Peter 3:15-16

v15. And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
v16. As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable twist, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Galatians 2:1-2,6-9

v1. Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also.
v2. And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.
v6.  But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man's person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me:
v7. But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;
v8. (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)
v9. And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the Gentiles, and they unto the circumcision.

Notes:

Here is a link to the Berean Bible Society, they can help you obtain books written by C. R. Stam. One book is titled: Moses and Paul, the one that I highly recommend is: Things That Differ. Things That Differ covers the dispensation of Law or Grace, this book will help you see the difference between law, prophecy and grace (Mystery).  No matter what else you may have heard law and grace are not the same. They are like oil and water, and they will not mix.

I have found Mr. Stam's books to be of great value in my studies of things that differ. And by the way the other book that Mr. Stam wrote was (Things That Differ).  It is a excellent book, it helped me to see and understand the difference between the Gospel of the Kingdom, which is Prophecy and the Gospel of the Grace of God which is Mystery.

Although I do not follow all of Mr. Stam's conclusions, never the less, his writings have been of extreme value and help to me.  Things that Differ, really demonstrates the difference between the two gospels. Paul's gospel is to the uncircumcised Gentiles. While Peter's gospel is to the circumcised Jews only. But now, there is only one gospel for all mankind today. That gospel of the grace of God, preached by the apostle Paul and his helpers is for all mankind.

Therefore why is the gospel of the kingdom being preached from most of our pulpits each Sunday? Don't you know that the apostle Paul called for anathema on anyone preaching any other gospel than the gospel that he preached. The gospel of the kingdom is set aside and put on hold. The gospel of the kingdom is not for the dispensation of the grace of God.

If you try to follow Jesus Christ using the rules from a previous dispensation, then you are lost. Only God can change the house rule. When we rightly divide the word of truth we can see these changes. From Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21 everything fits perfectly together when we use the dispensational key of right division. We should not neglect the historical parts of the Bible they are written for our learning.

Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

Warning! Don't spend all of your learning time in books that have nothing to do with your salvation.

2Timothy 3:7. Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Here is the Truth:

Galatians 1:8-12

v8. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
v9. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
v10. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
v11. But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
v12. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

for you, I will repeat below eight very important verses:

Paul's basic gospel for today can be found in: 1Corinthians 15:1-4, it was preached by the apostle Paul and his helpers. Furthermore it is the preaching of Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret since the world began, and Paul calls it My Gospel. And it is the only gospel that we should preached today.

Romans 16:25-26

v25. Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
v26. But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

1Corinthians 15:1-4

v1. Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
v2. By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
v3. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
v4. And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

2Corinthians 4:3-4

v3. But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
v4. In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
