How to understand your Bible
Miles Coverdale: 1488 to 1569

It will help you to understand Scriptures, if you mark not only what is spoken or written, but of whom or to whom, with what words, at what time, where, to what intent, with what circumstances, considering what goes before and what follows after.

Miles Coverdale, was the first man to translate the entire Bible into the English language. While the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is an accurate record of events and sayings of men, we must remember: All Scripture is for me. It is not all addressed to me nor is it written about me.

2Timothy 2:15. Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

William R Newell: 1868 to 1956.

You can judge any man's preaching or teaching by this rule : - Is he Pauline? Does his doctrine start and finish according to those statements of Christian doctrine uttered by the Apostle Paul? No matter how wonderful a man may seem in his gifts and apparent consecration if his Gospel is not Pauline, it is not the Gospel; and we might as well get our minds settled at once as to that.

One Spirit Baptism:

Why? Just one baptism? 1Corinthians 1:17, for Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery. God the Holy Spirit said, Paul is our pattern for everlasting life. And Paul was the first member of the church called the body of Christ. There is no new church at Pentecost!  God tells us in three separate places, to follow Paul, and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

Look at 1Corinthians 12:13 and Ephesians 4:5 these two verses should leave no doubt as to why we do not baptize in this dispensation of the grace of God.

Look at 1Corinthians 4:16, Philippians 3:17, and, 1Corinthians 11:1, God said, follow Paul as he follows Christ. According to 1Corinthians 12:13, The Holy Spirit  does all of the baptizing for the church the body of Christ without water, therefore we must follow Paul as he followed Christ, and do not expect or except water baptism. Do you want to be baptized one time by the Holy Spirit into the body of Christ. Or by men, which only gets you wet but has no redeeming value in God's sight? Water baptism is NOT for the dispensation of the grace of God!

In The Body Of Christ,
The Holy Spirit Baptizes!

Romans 11:13. For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:

2Corinthians 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

2Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Ephesians 4:5. One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

Ephesians 4:6. One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

1Corinthians 12:13. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Why don't we baptize? Once again, because, Christ did not send us to baptize, but to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

1Corinthians 1:17. For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

Water baptism is under the Mosaic law.

In the beginning of his ministry, Paul baptized probably eight people, but according to 1Corinthians 1:17; God must have shown him that water baptism was unnecessary for the church the body of Christ. God told Paul that the Holy Spirit would perform the one baptism (1Corinthians 12:13), into  the body of Christ. Paul understood, that he was only to preach the gospel of the grace of God. Water baptism was only for the kingdom believers, and they were all Jews under the law. The body of Christ is not under the law.

Therefore, keep in mind, if the twelve apostles would have won all Israel first, and completed their great commission, by going into all the world and preaching the gospel of the kingdom to every creature as they were told. Then they would have baptized everyone who believed in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, thereby putting them under the Mosaic law. We should all be thankful, that Christ sent Paul not to baptize but, to preach the gospel of the grace of God. The church the body of Christ is not under the law but, the majority of Christendom wants to practice the pick and choose portions of the law.

What we believe

Ephesians 4:5-6. One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

1Corinthians 12:13. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Romans 11:13. For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:

1Corinthians 4:16. Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.

1Corinthians 11:1. Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

Philippians 3:17. Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an example.

Romans 16:25. Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

Romans 16:26. But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

The Gospel
1Corinthians 15:1-4

v1. Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

v2. By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

v3. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

v4. And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Romans 10:9. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

2Corinthians 4:3-4

v3. But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

v4. In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Ask yourself, these two questions!

1. Did Christ send the twelve apostles to water baptize?-----Yes, He Did!

Matthew 28:19. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Mark 16:15-16.

v15. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

v16. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

But, Israel's twelve apostles, did not go to the Gentiles. The apostle Paul was sent to the Gentiles, and kings and the children of Israel. Do you see now why the apostle Paul's ministry so important for the church the body of Christ. Paul is our pattern for everlasting life and we should follow Paul as he follows Christ.

1Timothy 1:15-16.

v15. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

v16. Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

Paul was not sent to Baptized?

2. Did Christ send Paul to water baptize?-----No! He did not!

Because the Holy Spirit does all of the baptizing for the church the body of Christ without water. The Holy Spirit baptizes us into the body of Christ and seals us with His presence, until we are taken out of the way.

Romans 11:13. For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:

1Corinthians 1:17. For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

1Corinthians 11:1. Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

Ephesians 4:5. One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

1Corinthians 12:13. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

The Holy Spirit performs the one baptism for the church the body of Christ? And that is why God said, there is one baptism and it is performed by the Holy Spirit at the moment we first believe without hands and without a drop of water. The apostle Paul was sent to preach the gospel of the grace of God, which is the gospel of Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery that had been hid in God since the world began). Therefore, Paul calls it my gospel. (Romans 16:25.

Why Paul's Gospel?

The verses below should help us understand the gospel of the grace of God, Romans 16:25 tells us that it is Paul's gospel by which we are saved. To whom is it written and who wrote it? It is imperative that we understand that the gospel of the kingdom that Christ and the twelve preached, is set aside awaiting the tribulation. The gospel of the kingdom is not valid for today. So how are we established in Jesus Christ, please read these next verses and see.

Romans 16:25-26

v25. Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

v26. But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

WARNING!
Paul's Gospel of Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery that was hid in God since the age began! Is the only gospel for salvation today!

Yes!   Paul was sent only to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery. I hope when you finish with this page you will understand that Paul's gospel is different from that of the twelve. Paul's teaching is found no where else in the Scriptures, it was a secret until Christ saved Paul and sent him far hence to the Gentiles, kings and the children of Israel. Water baptism was set aside by God for the apostle Paul's ministry Ephesians 4:5. My friend there can be only one baptism for the body of Christ and it is performed by God the Holy Spirit at the moment of our salvation.

The kingdom gospel that Jesus and the twelve preached, was finally set aside by God in Acts 28:28 until the tribulation begins. As for water baptism, it is unnecessary. My friend we can not follow Christ in water baptism, as some say, because, water baptism belongs only to Christ's earthly ministry and that is for the Jews only. Understand, we were not included in Christ's earthly ministry, because Christ was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel to fulfill the promises made to the fathers.

Christ told the twelve in Matthew 10:5-6 what to preach and to whom they should preach, then in Matthew 15: 24 Christ told a Gentile woman why it was that way.

The lost sheep of the house of Israel only!

Matthew 10:5-6

v5. These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

v6. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Matthew 15:24. But He answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

In Ephesians 2:12-13, the Gentiles got a reprieve with the salvation of Saul of Tarsus whom God sent to the Gentiles, and kings and the children of Israel.

Ephesians 2:12-13

v12. That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

v13. But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Can you be saved without water baptism?

Let me say this once again, the body of Christ does not need water baptism! Why, because, the Holy Spirit baptizes us into the body of Christ without a drop of water at the moment of salvation. But some folks say, you have got to be kidding!

Read Mark's gospel, what does it say about water baptism? If you are convinced that you are right, then tell me what this verse means?

Mark 16:16. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

This verse says, you have to be water baptized to be saved? You do realize that Mark writes by inspiration of the Holy Spirit as well? Therefore how can you possibly deal with this verse in that way?

Well, I am very glad you asked, and that is a very good question too, I'll give you a short and simple answer. Mark does not write to the church the body of Christ. Mark writes to and for the dispensation of law which is the gospel of the kingdom. The gospel of the kingdom and the gospel of the grace of God are quite different! Yes, I know it is the same God, but He has made a dispensational change. Therefore, water baptism is not intended for the church the body of Christ. But water baptism is, for the kingdom gospel, and that means it is for Jews only.

My friend that gospel has been set aside until the tribulation begins. When it begins the kingdom gospel and water baptism will be reinstated and it will be for Jew and Gentile alike.

The Church the body of Christ

The Church the body of Christ has a new and different gospel, it is called the gospel of the grace of God, created for the one new man in this new dispensation of the grace of God! This new gospel can not be found in the O.T. it can not be found in the Four Gospels; it is only found in the writings of the apostle Paul. God sent Paul not to baptize but to preach the gospel! Our dispensation of grace does not require water baptism because we are baptized and sealed by the Holy Spirit without hands or water!

In the dispensation of law, the Lord Jesus Christ told the twelve, go ye therefore, into all the world, and preach the gospel of the kingdom to every creature. But He told them to begin at Jerusalem baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. All Israel must believe first, then they should go into all the world. For those who think the little flock went to anyone but to Jews only, think again! Christ said, all Israel first.

The agreement that James and the eleven had with Paul and Barnabas, was that Paul and Barnabas should go to the Gentiles and James and his helpers would stay with the Jews in other words they would leave Paul's converts alone. Remember James and the eleven were still under the Law. Remember what James and the elders said to Paul in: Acts 21:20 And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto Paul, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law: They followed the law until Acts 28:28 when they were set aside by God.

The apostle Paul told Timothy to rightly divide the Word of Truth. In other words separate the gospel of the kingdom from the gospel of the grace of God. Only the twelve were commanded to preach the gospel of the kingdom to every creature, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. In short under the kingdom gospel all nations would become Jewish proselytes and they would be under the Mosaic law.

And Yes, Christ did command the twelve in Mark 16:16 go ye therefore into all the world and preach the gospel of the kingdom to every creature. But, according to Acts 1:8 they had to win all Israel first. Furthermore the Lord Jesus Christ definitely was not speaking to the apostle Paul, Paul was not saved until Acts 9 which may have been several years after Pentecost.

Christ's New Church

Paul laid the foundation for Christ's new church called the body of Christ 1Corinthians 3:10, and this foundation is Jesus Christ, in heaven, therefore this church, could not be formed, until after the salvation of Paul in Acts 9. My friend this should close the door on Pentecost being the birth of the church which is called His body. Truly we must rightly divide the Word of Truth in order to understand this Scriptural time line . Miles Coverdale's formula would be of great value here. Why is it so difficult to see that on earth all of Christ's commands were to the twelve and they were under the law?

But, Christs' instructions from heaven to the apostle Paul, for the church the body of Christ are not under the law. Therefore, we have no part in the great commission of the twelve. Frankly because the great commission is not ours.

The only Church at Pentecost!

The kingdom church that began with the preaching of John the Baptist then Christ and the twelve, is the only church that was at Pentecost. But this church was set aside by God to await the tribulation, then, the kingdom gospel will be reinstated and preached in all the world during the tribulation. But first the church the body of Christ must be removed from planet earth. Then 144,000 young Jewish missionaries, will carry out the great commission. They will most likely follow Acts 1:8, Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:16 and Matthew 24:14.

Acts 1:8. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Matthew 28:19. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Mark 16:16. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Matthew 24:14. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Caution

Do not assume that the four verses above are written for the church the body of Christ. Because they are not! Only Paul writes to the church the body of Christ! These verses were to prepare the world for the kingdom during the tribulation. If any one excepts or believes this teaching during the tribulation it will most likely cost them their lives, but what is a few years on earth as compared to eternity in heaven. We must all try to understand that the Great commission is part of the kingdom gospel that Christ gave the twelve.

Go ye is a command, not a suggestion. Christ told the twelve to preach the gospel of the kingdom to every creature baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, but they had to win all Israel first.

The Lord Jesus Christ sent Paul not to Baptize, but to preach the gospel of the grace of God, and not the gospel of the kingdom. My friend you should see the difference here? Jesus and the twelve preached the gospel of the kingdom and baptized. Paul and his helpers preached the gospel of the grace of God and they did not baptize. Do you understand, these two gospels are completely different? For a short time there were two gospels, the gospel of the circumcision and the gospel of the grace of God. My friend Paul's mystery gospel is the only gospel for the entire world today, because, the gospel of the kingdom is no longer valid!

I pray that you understand, that this is true! But if you are still in doubt, please take another good look at 2Corinthians 4:3-4, above because they are not just space holders between verses two and five they are critical to our salvation. We must believe the gospel that Paul preached: 1Corinthians 15:1-4, which is the gospel of Jesus Christ. Read the verses above slowly for understanding! I hope you will set these verses to memory. These verses are so important for you and me I repeat them over and over in ever thing that I write. It is much more useful for you to see what God says than it is to see what I have to say.

Christs' instructions to Baptize and not to Baptize.

Christ instructed the twelve, go ye therefore into all the world and preach the gospel of the kingdom to every creature. This is the so called great commission which is fully under the law. But, Paul's instructions on the other hand are not under the law, they are under the pure grace of God. Therefore, Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 1:17 Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery. Paul calls the gospel he preaches, my gospel. Christ told the twelve only to preach the gospel of the kingdom, but, once more God told Paul to preach the gospel of the grace of God.

Now can you see the difference? The mystery gospel is from the risen and glorified Lord Jesus Christ in heaven! The gospel the twelve preached is the gospel of the kingdom, therefore the Holy Spirit calls it Christ after the flesh, and it is not for the church the body of Christ. It is important to understand that water baptism is a necessary Jewish ritual under the law, it is part of the great commission. Brothers and sisters in Christ we the body of Christ have nothing to do with the great commission. I can not say it strong enough; the great commission is not ours, water baptism is not for the body of Christ, again, it is not ours.

Paul says to rightly divide the Word of Truth, and keep things in their proper order, or dispensational settings. Please do not buy into the misguided idea that: Paul's helpers baptize in his place, they did not! I heard someone say, the Lord Jesus Christ was baptized, and I want to follow Him in water baptism. But, do you realize that Jesus was water baptized under the law to fulfill the law. We are not under the law, but, we have already fulfil the law when we love one another. That is why God did not tell us to follow Jesus as the twelve followed Him.

On the other hand, God said, 1Corinthians 11:1, follow Paul as he follows Christ. We must function in our own dispensation of the grace of God. The Lord Jesus and His twelve apostles were truly under the law, but, we in the body of Christ are not. They followed Jesus and Jesus followed the law. But today we must follow Paul as Paul followed Jesus, because the law has been set aside by God until the tribulation. In the mean time follow Paul as he followed the Lord Jesus Christ in heaven.

Water Baptism and the law

Water baptism is a Jewish ritual, it is a commandment, it will not be an option during the tribulation. During the tribulation water baptism will be reinstated for all who will believe both for Jews and Gentiles alike. Water baptism will be practiced in all the world by the 144000 when the kingdom gospel is reinstated. (Matt. 28:19). Paul was not just making small talk or delegating authority to others when he said, Christ sent me not to baptize but to preach the gospel. (1Corinthians 1:17).

Comparing the Jews at Pentecost, and the one new man, we are not just one big bunch, we are altogether different, keep in mind the Jews are God's earthly people, while the church the body of Christ are God's heavenly people. They are the circumcision, and we are the uncircumcision, they are the lost sheep of the house of Israel and we are the body of Christ.

If we should mix law and grace, then we are asking for anathema! Have you ever wondered, why it is so hard for folks to understand that the inspired Word of God given to the apostle Paul is different? We must take God at His Word by faith, and by faith we must follow Paul as he followed the risen and glorified Lord Jesus Christ in heaven. Peter told the Jews, something's of the apostle Paul are hard to be understood, but again Peter's message was to the Nation Israel alone, under the law.

Don't forget Peter and the ten at the Jerusalem council agreed that Paul and Barnabas should go to the Gentiles and they would stay with the Jews. And my friend that is exactly what they did, with only a few exceptions called Judaizers  that troubled Paul's converts.

Galatians 2:9. And when James, Peter and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.

The James mentioned above is the Lords half brother not the apostle James, who is now in charge of the little flock, Peter and the 10 remaining apostles are on their way out. Their kingdom program is quickly fading away. The other day I spoke with a man that insists that this is the apostle James and not the brother of Christ. Look at it this way the apostle James was killed in Acts 12:2. But, James, the writer of the book of James is still speaking later on in Acts 21:18. The apostle James was never in charge of the little flock but, Christs' half brother James was!

By Inspiration

We must all realize that every word the apostle Paul wrote, came directly from the risen and glorified Lord Jesus Christ in heaven by revelation. Christ gave us the apostle Paul as a pattern for everlasting life. Paul alone was given the gospel of Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery that was hid in God since the age began. That is why God tells us that Paul is the apostle of the Gentiles to bare His name before the Gentiles, and kings and the children of Israel. Brothers and sisters in Christ, Paul is the chief of sinners, and that does not mean the worst sinner of all. The chief is the leader!

Galatians 1:11-12.

v11. But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.

v12. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

1Timothy 1:16. Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

Paul followed the risen and glorified Lord Jesus Christ in heaven, and not from His earthly ministry to the Nation Israel alone. Here is a very frightening fact that should deeply concern all of us; God the Holy Spirit tells us if Paul's gospel be hid it is hid to them that are lost. You can still hear folks saying the apostle Paul should not be in our Bibles. But, can you see what would happen to the church the body of Christ if Paul's writings were not in there?

The apostle Paul is the only one that the Lord Jesus Christ commissioned to write to the church the body of Christ, which is composed mostly of Gentiles. God said, the other Scriptures are for our learning.

Romans 15:4. For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

But do not turn all of your learning into: 2Timothy 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. But, 2Timothy 2:15 Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Why is there such a resistance to Paul's gospel?

Sadly I have found very few want to study and preach Paul's gospel, in almost every church that I have attended, why is this so, we have all heard the gospel and if we believe the Scripture then why can't we accept the fact that Paul is our only apostle according to (Romans 11:13). And according to 1Timothy 1:16 Paul is our pattern for everlasting life. Hopefully we can understand, 1Corinthians 3:10, it says that Paul is the master builder of Christ's new church, called the body of Christ. Paul laid the foundation which is the Lord Jesus Christ risen and glorified. Therefore the church could not have started at Pentecost, it started several years later with a brand new theme.

1Corinthians 3:10-14

v10. According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

v11. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

v12. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

v13. Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

v14. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

We certainly should understand that the gospel of the grace of God, is Christ's gospel and it is the same gospel that Paul calls my gospel. Furthermore this gospel is the only gospel for the world and the body of Christ today. Paul called for anathema on anyone preaching any other so called gospel.

Galatians 1:8-12

v8. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

v9. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

v10. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

v11. But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.

v12. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

My friend Don't Neglect Paul!

If we neglect the teachings of the apostle Paul we are bound to suffer anathema! Did you know that the unsaved world will be judged by Paul's gospel? (Romans 2:16). Our doctrine can only come from the writings of the apostle Paul, because he is the only apostle commissioned to write to the Gentiles. (See Romans 11:13). Before Christ saved and appointed Paul as the apostle of the Gentiles. (See Ephesians 2:12-13).

Christ's earthly ministry was to the lost sheep of the house of
Israel alone, But, He died for the sins of the whole world.

According to Christ, Himself, His earthly ministry was to the Jews only, it did not include the Gentiles, only the Nation of Israel. At the beginning of the Lord Jesus Christs' earthly ministry, in Matthew 10:5-6 He commanded the 12 apostles go not into the way of the Gentiles. But, just before He ascended back to the Father, He said, go ye into all the world and preach the gospel of the kingdom to every creature. In accordance with:

Acts 1:8. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Before His ascension
Matthew 10:5-6

v5. These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

v6. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

The only way we can please God, is by faith; believe what He says.

Hebrews 11:6

v6. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Therefore by faith let's follow the apostle Paul as he followed the Lord Jesus Christ.  God said, Paul is our pattern for everlasting life.

2Thessalonians 3:7,9

v7. For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;

v9. Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an example unto you to follow us
