DSL Now Available In Carmel Valley
We are pleased to announce that DSL is now available in Carmel Valley. Generally speaking, from Highway 1 to about Mid-Valley. Residences and businesses with 659-xxxx phone prefixes are unfortunately still unable to receive DSL, but we're pressing for those areas too.
From October 1st through December 31st our DSL installations in Carmel Valley will be only $99 for all speeds. This includes equipment and the installation of the DSL line with our self-installation package. Red Shift will provide equipment and the DSL line itself at this price. If Red Shift installs the equipment, the fee is $149 extra. Give us a call at 655-8710 or go to "http://turbo.redshift.com/dsl/order" to check and see if your address can now get DSL.

Red Shift is bringing a new DSL promotion to the businesses and residences of Central California. The installation costs below represent our newest promotion:
$49 setup on IDSL (after rebate)
$79 setup on all SDSL speeds (after rebate)
$99 setup on all ADSL speeds*

Wireless Now Available In Castroville
Red Shift aims to bring broadband services to every nook and cranny on the Central Coast. Where DSL is not available we are working on wireless
solutions. Our Castroville wireless service is now up and running for the entire city. Below is a report of other areas we are currently working on.
Soledad: Due approximately Oct 16th
Greenfield: Due approximately Oct 25th
South Prunedale: Due approximately Nov 1st
King City: Due approximately Dec 1st
Salinas/River Road: Due approximately Feb 1st '02

Karl & Tony Radio Show
Tony and I do a radio show once per month on AM 1240 KNRY. We invite everyone to tune in. The theme of the show is commentary and advice on Internet business related topics. We comment on recent and past events and invite callers to dial in and chat with us.
Our next show, called "E-Buzz on Business" will air on Wednesday, October 10th between 4pm-5pm.
National Numbers Available Soon
Red Shift will soon have nearly 2,000 new cities nationwide where we have local dialup numbers. This will be good news to travelers as well as those moving from our local area who want to keep their Red Shift accounts. We expect to have these additions completed by the end of October.
