BETWEEN ORDER AND CHAOS


PURPOSE OF SECTION

This new section "Between Order and Chaos: mechanisms for manifesting spirit in flesh." is meant to provide a forum for dealing with the mechanics of how spirit expresses in flesh and in this world. The section title comes from the idea that all of CREATION occurs between order and chaos. Too much order, and the system is too frozen to change ... it cannot adapt, so it dies. Too much chaos and there is not enough of a fixed basis for anything to retain a form and hence exist. Somewhere between lies the balance point that permits all life to exist and spirit to express within form.

Once again, no comments in this area have been received. So, I'll take this opportunity to explain how I personally have started to implement improvements in my work environment based on some of the observations and realizations that I made in last month's section.

This month I made an information breakthrough. It happened just over two weeks ago when I realized that I could organize all of the information that I use at work in a manner that matches how the information is organized in my head. All it took was to use the technology that I use here in these pages in a manner that allowed me to apply it to all of the documents that I access, use, and create at work. Within a two day period, I was able to literally create a web of information that put everything at my fingertips, literally a mouse click away, regardless of kind of file that it was.

I am amazed that it was so easy, yet that I had not heard of anyone who had done it before. The immediate benefit was that my productivity increased by a factor of 3-4, literally overnight. An added benefit was that within a few hours, I was able to put all of the information that I use at the fingertips of those whom I work with as well. In my case, this involves several dozen people.

I am extremely excited. I have witnessed the birth of an INFORMATION REVOLUTION. Thus far, however, while others have been impacted, it is not clear that they yet realize and appreciate how great of a leap has been made and how it will completely transform the work environment within as little as a few months.

It is strange to be at the leading edge of this transformation. I am now the master of information in my life rather than its slave. Information overload is no longer even a remote possibility in my life because I am empowered by tools that enable me to effectively deal with it regardless of how much there is or how often it changes. This has completely changed all the interfaces that I have with others at work and has freed me to work in a manner that I would not have believed was possible as little as three weeks ago. It takes a lot to get me THIS EXCITED. But, the discoveries I have made and have implemented are indeed that powerful and that important.

Given that we are truly in the midst of an INFORMATION AGE, this breakthrough truly has the potential to empower many people in ways that make all the difference in the world. I look forward to see what will manifest from the seed that has no sprouted. I already know that it will grow into a TREE of KNOWLEDGE far grander than anyone has dreamed possible. I anxiously await seeing just how this will unfold and what magic and miracles will be unleashed to tranform the present world into the one that we choose to create!
